Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice is located inside the Maxwell Food Centre. You can easily spot the chicken rice stall with the long queue. We queued for half an hour and we heard the queue can be as long as more than one hour so it was our lucky day.
One plate of the chicken rice starts from S$ 3.50 and it is not expensive at all. We also ordered chicken gizzard and the bean sprouts.
The chicken rice is fragrant as they use better quality rice than the chicken rice stalls in Malaysia. For the Hainanese chicken, it is good but it is not definitely not the best.
The chicken texture is a bit rough and it is not as tender as we thought. For the taste, the sauce adds more flavour to the chicken and the chili is ordinary. You can talk and brag about visiting Tian Tian Chicken Rice but you might not revisit again as it is a bit over rated.
