Malaysia Airlines Cancels Kuala Lumpur Seoul Korea Flights

Latest news from Malaysia Airlines regarding the recent travel restriction announced by the Ministry of Health yesterday. Effective 13 March  2020 , the Malaysian Government will impose travel restriction to all Iranian, Italian and South Korean nationals. Malaysians returning from these countries will be subject to a compulsory 14-day quarantine.

Due to the restrictions, Malaysia Airlines will be temporarily suspending its 12x weekly service between Kuala Lumpur and Seoul, until 31 March  2020.

Malaysia Airlines will operate its last flights on 12 March  2020  via MH66 from Kuala Lumpur to Incheon and the return leg MH67 on 13 March  2020 from Incheon to Kuala Lumpur. 

Passengers affected by the cancellation are entitled to request for an alternative travel date for travel up  until  31 December  2020 , or request for a full refund, or opt to be rerouted to other destinations within Greater China (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong or Xiamen) or Japan region (Narita and Osaka).

Applicable fees for refund and reissuance will be waived. However any fare difference due to changes to travel date or routing will apply.
