Breaking news! The minister of health, YB Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba just announced that the Malaysian Cabinet will bar all nationals and travellers from Korea, Italy and Iran to Malaysia. This will include transiting in Malaysia effective 13rd March 2020. This is announced via the official Twitter account of Ministry of Health Malaysia.
The official statement by Ministry of Health Malaysia is as below:
Kabinet putuskan sekatan perjalanan sepenuhnya ke atas semua rakyat Itali, Iran, Korea Selatan serta warga asing lain yang datang dari negara tersebut daripada memasuki Malaysia atau transit di mana-mana PMA berkuatkuasa 13 Mac. – Menteri Kesihatan, YB Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

There is no mention when the travel restriction will end but please take note this will be starts from 13rd March 2020.
