The new updates on the COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia. There are 21 COVID-19 Red Zones Areas in Malaysia as on 12 noon, 6 April 2020 as announced by Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) or Ministry of Health Malaysia on their official Twitter account. Please take note that KKM categorised areas with 41 COVID-19 cases and above as red zones.
Please take note that it was 18 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia on 12 noon, 5 April 2020 and 3 new Red Zones in one day! Now, there are 21 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia and 9 COVID-19 Red Zones area in Klang Valley. This is the increment from 15 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia seven days ago.
We recently blogged about COVID-19 List of Hotels in KL as Quarantine Centres. These hotels are for Malaysians returning from overseas since 3 April 2020 for 14 days.

There are 9 COVID-19 Red Zones in Klang Valley now compare to 4 COVID-19 Red Zones in Klang Valley on 23 March 2020. All zones in KL is now COVID-19 Red Zones.
For your information, there are 19 orange zones in the country (20 to 40 cases), 79 yellow zones (one to 19 cases) and 29 green zones (no Covid-19 cases).
This are official figures from Ministry of Health Malaysia and there is stricter movement control in Red Zones area for example Sg Ramal last week and Kajang this week with many police roadblocks.
There are 7 days more of Movement Control Order (MCO) until 14 April 2020. We are at home like other Malaysians during this MCO. Please stay at home everyone and keep the curve down.
We know it is frustrating and we are deeply affected by this MCO too. What we can do is just stay home and adhere to the MCO. We will update more food and travel stories during this MCO period.
