The new updates on the COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia and are 24 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia as on 12 noon, 8 April 2020 as announced by Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) or Ministry of Health Malaysia on their official Twitter account. Please take note that KKM categorised areas with 41 COVID-19 cases and above as red zones.
There is an increment of 3 COVID-19 Red Zones in just two days as it was 21 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia on 12 noon, 6 April 2020! Now, there are 24 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia and 10 COVID-19 Red Zones area in Klang Valley. We also blogged about the Five Major COVID-19 Clusters Identified in Malaysia.
We recently blogged about COVID-19 List of Hotels in KL as Quarantine Centres. These hotels are for Malaysians returning from overseas since 3 April 2020 for 14 days.

There are 10 COVID-19 Red Zones in Klang Valley and the new COVID-19 Red Zones are Kuantan, Kota Samarahan and Sepang. All zones in KL is now COVID-19 Red Zones.
For your information, there are 16 orange zones in the country (20 to 40 cases), 79 yellow zones (one to 19 cases) and 29 green zones (no Covid-19 cases).
This are official figures from Ministry of Health Malaysia and there is stricter movement control in Red Zones area for example Sg Ramal last week and Kajang and some areas in Petaling Jaya with many police roadblocks.
