When it comes to hot pot restaurants, there are dozens of them all over in Kuala Lumpur. We haven’t been to most of them but one of the hot pot restaurants we enjoyed is Hong Kong Hot Pot restaurant at Telawi Square, Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar.

We have been there a few times and one of the main reasons of going to Hong Kong Hot Pot on their food is they offer Karaoke (KTV). You need to book the KTV room early as there are limited rooms but its worth it when you are going there with a group of friends.

This menu is taken some time ago and but most of the food items and prices are here except they changed their menu and prices. We forgot to take the latest menu as we usually go there for the food.

We ordered two broths, the Fresh Tomato Broth and the Sakura Pork Bone Broth. If you like spicy broth, you can try their Sze chuan Spicy Broth. Both the fresh tomato broth and sakura pork bone broth is tasty and enjoyable.

This is their US Premium Marble Beef Slice and just look at that marbling. Just dipped into the soup for a while so it won’t over cooked and this is good on its own, even without the sauces.

This is the Sakura Premium Pork Slice, round shaped and remember to cook this thoroughly until it is not pink in colour. We always enjoy this type of premium pork slice and it goes well with their sauces. This premium pork slice is quite common in Thailand and we usually have it there and it is nice to see this at Hong Kong Hot Pot.

They have many different types of seafood and meat balls in the menu and we ordered the Prawn balls, squid balls and Hong Kong mushroom pork balls. These are freshly meat and seafood balls and not the frozen food so you get more flavour and texture from it.

Hong Kong Hot Pot at Telawi Square Bangsar offers premium hot pot experience with good food and good service. The prices of the food here is slightly high due to the quality of the food as well as the location too since this is Bangsar. On top of the food, you can also book for the karaoke room depending on how many pax and this is first come first serve basis.

The Karaoke room is free of charge upon spending above a certain value, please ask them for more information. There is a time limit for Karaoke room and please contact them for more information too.
