Don Don Donki Is Opening in KL

Some great news for Japan lovers like us in Kuala Lumpur (KL). Japan’s popular store Don Don Donki (Don Quijote) will be opening their first store in Malaysia according to China Press today.

For those who often travelled to Japan, Don Don Donki is a familiar name as it offers many discounted products ranging from fashion, electronics, games to food. Don Don Donki has over 100 stores in Japan and they also opened their outlets in Thailand and Singapore.

We usually visit Don Don Donki stores in Japan to purchase great value items including clothing, toys as well as food before we fly back to Malaysia. Believe it or not, we usually carry extra luggage for Don Don Donki especially getting Japanese snacks and food including the Ichiran Instant Ramen.

According to China Press, the first Don Don Donki store will be opening at Lot 10 Shopping Mall, Bukit Bintang and the outlet will be near Zara.

There is also the Don Don Donki Malaysia’s Facebook Page giving a ‘coming soon!” teaser but we are not sure whether that is the official page of Don Don Donki Malaysia.

For Japan lovers like us, this will be great news but the big question is when is Don Don Donki opening in KL. We hope that the pricing of the items will be similar to Japan and not overpriced as it will defeat the purpose of being Don Don Donki. Good news ‘mina-san’, Don Don Donki will be opening in KL.
