Do you know that The Loaf changed management in 2018 and was rebranded to meet the changing needs of today’s consumer. The Loaf re-opened its flagship store in Perdana Quay in December 2018 and continued to open Loaf concept stores in Pavilion, Plaza Cenang, Langkawi and Ekocheras Mall. In addition, it also opened a range of medium scale outlets under the concept of Loaf Bites in Sunway Pyramid, NU Sentral and IOI City Mall.

Now, let’s check out their Sarawak Food dishes.

Laksa Sarawak RM 25

Laksa Sarawak is different than the usual laksa in Peninsula Malaysia. The distinctive taste of Laksa Sarawak is the spices they use for the laksa.

Chef Yusuf’s Laksa Sarawak comes with combination of flavours of sweet, spicy and sour. What you need to know is you have to eat when it is served. The laksa soup is strong in taste and it is creamy and this is made from scratch using fresh herbs and spices.

Chef Yusuf’s Laksa Sarawak comes with prawns, chicken, rice vermicelli noodles, beansprout, egg and lime. Remember to squeeze the lime for the acidic flavours to enhance this bowl of goodness. For Laksa Sarawak lovers, you should come visit The Loaf and try Chef Yusuf’s version of Laksa Sarawak.

Ayam Kampung Masak Lemak Cili Api

This Ayam Kampung Masak Lemak Cili Api is a chicken dish that is cooked with turmeric, lemongrass and bird’s eye chilli or cili padi. What you can expect is the tender texture of the ayam kampong and the creamy flavourful gravy that goes really well with rice.

Daging Balado

This is beef with chilli and you can tell it comes with generous amount of chili. The beef is tender in texture and the spicy chili sauce goes well with rice. For daging balado lover, you can try this.

Pari Asam Pedas

This is sting ray cooked with asam pedas. This lovely dish is one of my favourites and they offer fresh sting ray and cooked in this sourish spicy sauce. Have this while it is warm and this will make your day.
