Just a quick announcement, BTS Meal McDonalds Malaysia mostly sold out and restocked soon. Malaysia is the first country to offer McDonald’s BTS Meal on 26 May 2021 due to the time zone and we were told that it has been sold out a few days ago in many outlets. The good news is BTS Meal McDonalds Malaysia Restocked soon.
The BTS Meal McDonalds Malaysia is expected to last for weeks (while stocks last) but it is mostly sold out within one week but there are still stock in selected outlets throughout Malaysia. Today, McDonald’s Malaysia announced BTS Meal restocked soon on 9 June 2021.
The BTS Meal will be available McDonald’s from 11 am thru Drive thru, McDelivery, GoFood, GrabFood and ShopeeFood on 9 June 2021.
What is BTS Meal?
The BTS Meal includes a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets®, medium World Famous Fries®, medium Coca-Cola, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea.
We did the BTS Meal McDonalds Malaysia last week and right after it is available in Malaysia, there are people selling BTS Meal packaging online.
On top of that, according to Marketing Interactive, McDonald’s Asia only spent 40% of their usual media spend.
Due to the organic hype and power of word of mouth, we only needed to spend 30% to 40% of our usual campaign media budgets to garner the same impact, said Euguene Lee, the regional director of marketing of McDonald’s Asia who is in charge of overseeing the BTS campaign in the region.
Lee explained that Malaysia is currently selling six times more BTS meals than it projected.
Well, we enjoyed the Cajun sauce regardless the hate comments received on our Youtube video. Overpriced or not, it is always within the price range of McDonalds Malaysia. For those who never tried the BTS Meal McDonalds Malaysia, they will Restocked soon!
