List of 66 Countries for Phuket Sandbox

One of the main criteria for the Phuket Sandbox is applicable only for fully vaccinated international travellers from countries/regions with a low to medium risk of SAR-CoV-2 virus as announced and constantly updated by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). 

High-risk countries are not allowed entry at this stage.

Yesterday, the list of pilot countries for Phuket Sandbox were announced and there are 66 countries and regions. The numbers will grow in coming date.

You probably gone through the list many times and you don’t see Malaysia in the list. One of the main reasons is Malaysia is still in lockdown and that is probably the reason why it is not in the list. However, we are positive that Malaysia will remain one of the countries listed once our COVID 19 cases are lowered as well as the end of lockdown for Malaysians traveling abroad.

For now, we just have to wait and see. We have influencer friends in Phuket right now for the opening on 1 July 2021.
