This Red Chef Spicy Sakura Prawn Soup Noodles is rated as Top Ten Instant Noodles from The Ramen Rater. Apparently, it has been rated No. 2 in the list of Top Ten Noodles Of All Times 2018 by the Ramen Rater. Is this really that good or it is over rated?

We bought this during FMCO as we didn’t want to go out that often. There are a few flavours for this Red Chef series and they are sakura prawn, white curry and tom yum flavour.

The Red Chef Spicy Sakura Prawn Soup Noodles comes with one packet of seasoning and one packet of chili prawn paste with oil.

As usual you cook the noodles first and then you add the flavour into the bowl and add the noodles. After that you add the chili prawn paste with oil.

Here is some tips, try not to add too much water as it will dilute the taste and add the paste last. If you look at our photo, the soup is almost half the bowl with the noodles.

The noodles are nice, the texture is springy and the portion is slightly more than the usual instant noodles. The taste of the soup is rich with flavour, we love the aroma of the flavour with spot on spiciness. This Red Chef Spicy Sakura Prawn Soup Noodles lives up to the reputation and expectation. It gives the satisfaction we needed for a good bowl of prawn noodles.

This is really comfort food and you can add on some prawns and egg or some green depending on your preferences.
