When I renewed my Malaysia passport last month, I received some criticism from some quarters. Some say why do I need to rush to renew my Malaysia passport so early as there are plenty of time to do. For your information, there is no longer walk in for passport renewal allowed in April 2022 and this is the main reason we did this renewal update story.
Just few days ago, I was told that Passport Malaysia renewal no longer accept walk in at Pejabat Imigresen Putrajaya. I made a call to the immigration department and they told me only online appointment for now.
The online appointment for most Passport Malaysia Renewal takes at least one to two weeks for now depending on the popularity of the immigration department.
I heard that some immigration department allows walk in but they are usually located outside of Klang Valley but I highly recommend you to make a call first or apply your Passport Malaysia online.
