After coming back from a week of holiday in Osaka Japan, I craved for Japanese food. Honestly, I need more Japanese food after Japan and with recommendations from my friends, I went to Sakanaya Umihiko, a Japanese restaurant located at Level 4, Lot 10 KL.
They have been around for years and they are popular with their fresh seafood, sushi and salmon dishes.
Here are the food we ordered for the family and they are good in portion!
✅Sumagatsuo Don (RM 48). Sumagatsuo also known as Black Skipjack is a high fat and flavourful fish from the mackerel fish family.
This is raw and torched sumagatsuo which comes in different texture, great flavor that complements with rice.
✅Sumagatsuo Salmon Don (RM 58) which comes with Salmon and Sumatsuo. A great combination of two great flavor fish and this is really good in flavor and texture.
✅Salmon Deluxe Don (RM 58) that comes with ikura (salmon roe), raw salmon cubes and torched salmon aburi cubes. You get three different types of texture of the salmon in a bowl. This taste just like in Japan.
✅Salmon Ramen (RM 28) what comes with generous amount of salmon, egg and nori. My boy loves this ramen.
Like in Japan, they also offer alcohol buffet from 1 hour to 2 hour with a selection of drinks, beer, cocktails, wines as well as sake. The beer here and the house pouring sake is good!
I enjoyed the food at Sakanya Umihiko and the food pricing here is reasonable, time to check it out at Lot 10 KL.
