Amazing Empanadas at La Saltenita, El Bolson, Rio Negro, Patagonia, ARGENTINA

*Written by Wilson Ng*
I realized something when I’m traveling in Argentina. Small town has good food. Seriously. Our unprecedented stop at El Bolson for petrol forced us a quick bite. El Bolson is in the Rio Negro region of Patagonia. Patagonia itself is huge, we had been traveling for days at Route 40, Patagonia Argentina.

Luckily, near the petrol station we found a shop selling Empanadas. Empanadas are Latin American pastry stuffed with fillings, with the skin quite similar to our Malaysian curry puff skin.

They have lots of varieties of the …

Dirt Desert of Barrancas, Neuquen,Patagonia, ARGENTINA

*Written by Wilson Ng*‘
I never could imagine Argentina could be so beautiful. Well, that’s a hint of what I will be posting once I’m back to Kuala Lumpur in March. Another good news I got today is I might be going to Uruguay after all. I will not be joining the other group to Rio for the annual “samba parade”, instead I will stick to my plan to go to Uruguay, fingers crossed.
Back to the story, after leaving Malargue and on our way to Neuquen, I was fascinated by the …

World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Cordoba ARGENTINA

*Written by Wilson Ng*
Traveling from Buenos Aires to Cordoba was not as tiring as I thought. As the second largest city of Argentina, Cordoba is one of the first Spanish colonial capital of the region.

This is how the city looks like from Sheraton Hotel, Cordoba. We reached Cordoba late in the evening.

We took a cab to tour the city as well as having a nice dinner there. Taxi fares were cheaper than Buenos Aires. Weather was really hot as it’s summer now. Ranging around 32c and above. In general, Argentinians …

Fine Dining at Happening, Puetro Madero, ARGENTINA

*Written by Wilson Ng*
Puetro Madero is a scenic waterfront area in Buenos Aires. We had a dinner at one of the “fine dining” restaurants there, Happening.

Please click the video to the Youtube link and select 1080p for FULL HD experience. Video is shot in 1080p FULL HD Format.

The entrance of the lovely restaurant. From outside, the restaurant looks really lovely. Tables and chairs and the area was very clean.

The common starters for most of the Argentinian restaurants, breads in the basket. Different variations differs from one to another outlet. Sometimes, …

Colorful Florida Street, Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA

*Written by Wilson Ng*
Many might wonder how is the weather like in Buenos Aires. Well, Buenos Aires is having summer now. The weather is around 32°c slightly colder than Kuala Lumpur. During noon time, it’s very sunny and quite hot. The sun rises around 6.30 am and set around 8pm. The exchange rate is 1 US dollar to 3.8 pesos.

Staying in Sheraton Hotel Buenos Aires, San Martin is as good choice. The popular Florida Street is just 5 min walk from the hotel. I enjoyed the short walk as the …

Safe and Sound, in Buenos Aires now!

*Written by Wilson Ng*
This is going to be a short one. I reached Buenos Aires after a long flight from Kuala Lumpur. The whole journey took me around 26 hours inclusive of transit. I haven´t got time getting a local SIM card yet, rushing for dinner now. No jetlags but I got sick when I was on the plane. Let me share a few pictures I took while on my way here.

Waking up 5 am on the plane was worth it. Took this picture showing the sunrise at 30,000 feet …

Underwater Pictures and Videos of Redang Marine Park

*Written by Rachel Ting*
Our 2008 trip to Redang was a good one. It was actually Wilson’s first time to Redang Island. We didn’t stay at one of the top resorts, we opted for an average resort which was averagely good. Our package includes snorkeling trips to Redang Marine Park with the additional fee of RM 5 (US$ 1.8) only.

The island is well maintained, crowded by tourist but it was very clean. We were advised to snorkel around the island and it was indeed one of the best snorkeling site we’ve …

Ground Zero at World Trade Center Path Station, NYC

*Written by Wilson Ng*
Should I jump in joy? I found most of my old travel pictures in one of my external hard drive. My trip to New York City in 2007  was a memorable one. One of the places that was significantly unforgettable was the Ground Zero site at the World Trade Center Path Station.

Please bear in mind the pictures are taken in April 2007. We reached Ground Zero around 4-5 pm that day. Yet, the place was crowded.

The sign in front of the World Trade Center Path Station.

There were …

A Sunny Cherating Beach

*Written by Wilson Ng*
A beach holiday would be a perfect remedy now. However, our next beach holiday won’t happened until March. I had been going thru a lot of stress lately. I’m yet to get all my stuffs done for Argentina. Still left a few things for it. Will be rushing to complete my work and getting my preparations done before next week, I hope.
For now imagine.
Just imagine a very sunny day.

Under the clear blue sky, the best possible place for sunbathing. The soothing air blowing from the ocean, with …

Unseen New York City Pictures

*Written by Wilson Ng*
Been really busy this few weeks. Another 6 more days to destination Argentina!
I had been backing up some of my older folders and found my 2004 New York City trip pictures. Here, are the few unseen New York City, NYC pictures I found. More to come, if I could find them.

I understand that they do really mean NYC is a city. Place is like a “building jungle”, yet its well planned.

A typical NYC look.

More picture…

Empire State building and the scenery part of the Big Apple. If not …

My Beautiful Sister Wedding Day

It was a lovely Saturday morning. Everyone in the family woke up early that morning. We were busy and nervous. It was quite an important day for us, the Ng family. It was our beloved sister, Adeline Ng’s wedding day. As we reached our family house, she was still preparing her make up and hair.

Sis was still making up at that time, I can tell she was nervous too.

She was pretty excited as she slowly took her time for make up.

She got her best buddies to accompany her. Everyone were …

Sunday Breakfast at Yut Kee Restaurant, Jalan Dang Wangi, Kuala Lumpur

*NON-HALAL*
It has been a while since we had a good Sunday breakfast. The last good one we had was in Seri Kembangan for dim sum. That was weeks ago. Yesterday morning, we decided to venture to a place that we haven’t visited before.

The ever popular Yut Kee. Located at Jalan Dang Wangi, Yut Kee has been around for years. Established at 1928, the place now is a whopping 82 years old and they are still going strong. The place itself is a pre-war building.

The interior is still the same as …

Beautiful Scenic Pak Meng Beach at Trang, Thailand

*Written by Rachel Ting*
We had never travel to Pak Meng beach of Trang, Thailand. Trang is a town located in the south of Krabi and north of Hadyai and the southern part of Thailand are mainly populated by Muslims.

Pak Meng beach is one of the popular beaches in Trang. If you noticed the 2 sign boards above, the sign reads Tsunami Evacuation center. Sadly, Pak Meng beach was also one of the effected area of the Tsunami back then.

During high tides, the sandy beach area will be covered by sea …

*Written by Wilson Ng*
Finally I got my sleep after a few hectic days of working and also time for blogging. Luckily, my streamyx connection was good enough for me to finish this one quick. I loved working on events like this. Great clients, great place and as always great event! It was the Tiger Beer’s Year Of Tiger Media Event with Joey Yap at KL Live, Life Center, Kuala Lumpur.

How to determine a great entrance? “Tiger girls”… Roarrrr!! Very “Ang”! Red that night!

Another shot of the “Tiger girls” that night. …
