DurianBB Park Imbi Review | Durian in Kuala Lumpur

Where to eat durian in Kuala Lumpur? Where can you find durian products or souvenirs in Kuala Lumpur? The answer is right here, in DurianBB Park at Imbi. We visited the DurianBB Park a few weeks ago and this is one of the latest durian places in the city centre.

DurianBB Park is located at 15, Jalan Kamuning, Imbi in between Jalan Imbi and Jalan Tun Razak. It is around 5 to 10 mins of walking from Tun Razak Exchange MRT Station, Berjaya Times Square Monorail Station and Bukit Bintang MRT Station. It is near the old ‘Imbi Wet Market’.

Unlike conventional durian stalls, DurianBB Park offers own private parking spaces, spacious dining area with ceiling fans, fresh durians, durian sampling platter, durian products and souvenirs, hands washing area and toilet.

DurianBB started in Hong Kong in 2015 before marking its presence in China, Macau and Singapore. DurianBB finally reached Malaysia and opened DurianBB Park in Imbi.

There are fresh durians everyday at DurianBB Park (during the durian season) and they offer five varieties of durians from the orchards in Malaysia. They are Musang King, D101, D13 Golden Bun, Durian Kampung and D24 or XO. The prices of fresh durians depend on stock and supply. It will be cheaper during the peak of durian season and more expensive during off-season.

For those who wants to taste all five types of durians they offer, you can try the Durian Platter. It offers a piece of all five durian types on a sampling tray. The concept is similar to cheese tasting platter or chocolate tasting platter in Australia or Europe. This is the first time we see a durian tasting platter in Malaysia.

You start from Durian Kampung and then D101, D13, D24 and lastly Musang King. The taste is from mild to strong so you get to taste the variation and complexity of taste and texture of each durian type.

They also sell durian products which is good for gifts and souvenirs. You can find durian products like Musang King nougats, egg rolls, chocolates, durian dodol, 4 in 1 durian milk tea and coffee, freeze dried Musang King puree, Musang King Bar and more.

The taste of the durian products here are very good. We love the freeze dried Musang King puree and the Musang King Bar (ice cream) is really good. You can buy it in bulk and keep it in the freezer and eat whenever you want.

Fresh fruit durians are also available but the pricing is seasonal. They offer many varieties of durian types which include Durian Kampung, D24, D101, D13, Musang King and more.

Overall, we love the concept of Durian BB Park. It offers a cozy and comfortable place for customers to enjoy durians and also things like plastic gloves and mineral water. The place is clean and they have toilet, washing hands area as well as private parking. We were told there is also private rooms with air conditioners too.
