Staying in a National Park at Freycinet Lodge

Ever fancy staying in a national park in Tasmania. Blend yourself in nature and the wilderness of the Tasmanian National Park? If you do, you should stay at Freycinet Lodge.

Located inside Freycinet National Park, Freycinet Lodge is an ideal place for exploring the Freycinet peninsula. The lodge has a spectacular waterfront location at the food of the Hazards.

Dinner at Freycinet Lodge could mean more than their yummy meals, a stunning view that is memorable.

All their rooms are in walking distance from their main building.

Most of their rooms are camouflaged handsomely within the National Park. Least damages are done to the nature and there are also walking platforms connecting from room to room.

My room is a beauty. It was spacious and very cozy.

All the rooms in Freycinet Lodge are without basic facilities such as TV, telephone and also Internet.

It is their eco-friendly concept so you won’t disturb the nature as you are staying inside a national park. Freycinet Lodge is proudly ECO certified and will keep on conserving the nature.  Love the reminder for us not harming the environment.

My room comes with a living hall and small working desk.

Even though there is no TV but they do have a small mini-audio system playing soothing music.

I always love welcome note. It is just a small gesture but it shows a lot for guests.

Not forgetting also the “welcome cheese platter”. This is my first time getting a cheese platter as a welcome food in a resort.

I have no complains having the platter on the King size bed. I had one of the best sleeps in Tasmania there, probably due to the tiredness or the comfy of this bed.

It can be very cold in the room during winter so they provide us an electrical blanket. Something to keep us warm on top of the room’s heater.

The bathroom is huge and it comes with a bathtub and standing shower.

You can peek out of the windows beside the bathtub while resting. At night you will be entertained by the music of wildlife in nature.

Another view of the bathroom.

If you wondering what to do in the middle of the night, walk out the room and look at the sky and you will be showered with bright starry sky.

This is taken at the Lodge during day time.

There are plenty to do in Freycinet National Park most popular one will be the Wineglass Bay. Canoeing and other short walks are popular too in the area! We hope to update this blogpost with more reviews of the short walks in this area.
