The last time I wrote about this place is four years ago and I have been patronizing this restaurant for years. It is one of the roast duck specialty restaurants in Kuala Lumpur and it is a favourite place for many of their regular customers.

The restaurant is hidden in Taman Maju Jaya, a residential area near the MRR2, Pandan areas and Taman Shamelin. It is a typical Chinese restaurant and you won’t be fazed by their appearance.

As it is usually packed like sardine can during lunch hour, we decided to take away the roast duck. The secret of BBQ Kong Meng’s crispy roast duck is they reheat it before serving the duck. The exact timing and temperature remains unknown and it is their trade secret. That’s why their roast ducks are usually warmed and the duck skin remains crispy with tender meat. A whole bird of roast duck cost RM 59 per bird and it has increased significantly from the yester years. However, there is no lack of quality and the duck is yummy-licious.
