You might be familiar with names like Koh Samui, Phuket or Koh Lipe but Koh Samet might sounds new. Koh Samet is an island located at the east of Bangkok in the Gulf of Thailand off Rayong. It is approximately 220 km southeast of Bangkok.
The island is beautiful retreat more popular with locals especially from Bangkok. Its serene beach and beautiful resorts and chalets make the island one of the top destinations for holiday and love birds.
Ko Samet is 6.5 kilometres south of mainland Rayong province and is surrounded by the Gulf of Thailand. The island is off Rayong and you get the jetty in Rayong to visit Koh Samet.
