I was invited for this special Veuve Clicquot mooncake pairing lunch at Grand Imperial Restaurant, Hartamas Shopping Centre.I sampled four delectable mooncakes featuring a luscious assorted fruits and nuts paste with chicken bits, mouthwatering Pandan lotus paste single yolk, a divine almond with sesame white lotus paste and a seductive Bamboo Charcoal with white lotus tiramisu. They are the creation of Grand Imperial restaurant, freshly made and HALAL! The four mooncakes carry their own significant taste and the taste is very personal and subjective. I love the light flavor of Pandan lotus paste, I love the texture of fruits and nuts paste mooncake and also the strong flavored Bamboo Charcoal with white lotus tiramisu mooncakes.
How to do a champagne tasting with mooncake?
Take a bite of the mooncake and compliment with a sip of Veuve Clicquot.
