The Sam Peng Yaowarat Wholesale Market is not as big as Pratunam or Chatuchak as it is only one lane. There are sections of the wholesale market and you will know when you are there.

The lane is narrow and it is packed. It is usually patronized by locals but now there are many tourists too.

 

It is an outdoor market and there are sections of the wholesale market selling different items. You can find clothing, fabrics, jewellery, accessories and many more at this wholesale market.

Expect to spend at least a few hours just venturing and shopping. The problem is you need to take a taxi here but you won’t regret coming. Remember to bring cash as most places accept cash only. We are not sure about price bargaining as most of the items are pretty cheap.

Bring your own shopping bag so you can put it in your bag. The lanes and alleys are narrow so it could be hot and stuffy during hot days.

The best way to come here is by taxi and just tell them you want to visit the Sam Peng or Yaowarat Wholesale Market, they will know the way.
