Restoran Sister Kam Yong Tau Fu Seri Kembangan

Restoran Sister Kam Yong Tau Fu is a popular ‘yong tau fu’ restaurant in Seri Kembangan. We read many positive reviews before we went to check out this restaurant in Seri Kembangan. If you google map this place, you will end up finding Sister Lam than Sister Kam. The original name is Sister Lam Yong Tau Fu and they have been around for more than 10 years but they closed down a few years ago and taken over by this ‘Sister Kam’.

We went there on weekend for brunch and it wasn’t that pack. The crowd start pouring in around noon time. It is a typical Chinese kopitiam style restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces available and it is non air-conditioned.

You can look at the menu and it is the usual yong tau fu items you can find.

The yong tau fu is RM 1.60 per piece (if we remembered it correctly), it was RM 1.40 per piece. For the taste wise, it is pretty decent and nothing to shout about.

The saddest thing about this restaurant is the dumplings. Please take a look at the filling of the fried dumpling. We don’t mind paying RM 1.60 per piece but there is not much filling inside and it feels like eating the dumpling skin.

We thought it is just one dumpling but even the other dumpling also got no filling. We don’t like to complain but this kind of dumpling, eat also no feeling.

This is first and the last time we visited Restoran Sister Kam Yong Tau Fu. The food is decent but the dumpling really no filling so at the end of the day, we eat until tummy also no feeling. The pictures tell the story, we don’t need to elaborate much.
