Butter Ramen at Aji No Takeidai Sapporo JR Station Hokkaido

It is something unique to share. We found this ramen restaurant by luck during our trip to Sapporo Hokkaido. The restaurant is called Aji No Takeidai and it is located one of the exits of Sapporo JR Station Hokkaido (North Exit).

From their website, we got to know that Aji No Takeidai is opened for more than 45 years. Their first outlet is at Susukino Sapporo and then they expanded their ramen restaurant locally and Internationally.

We were there during our first dinner at Sapporo and we ordered two ramen. Their number one popular menu, their Homemade Miso Flavoured Soup Ramen and Butter Ramen.

We ordered the Homemade Miso Flavoured Soup Ramen with dried seaweed. We love the texture of the ramen as it is al dente. The miso flavoured soup is flavourful and we enjoyed their sliced pork and also combination with dried seaweed.

The butter ramen comes with soy sauce based soup with the delicious homemade butter. This is our first time having a butter ramen. The butter will melt due to the heat of the soup and it adds creamy texture to the soup and extra flavour to the soy sauce soup. It is better with another piece of butter.

Overall the ramen here at Aji No Takeidai is good. This is comfort food especially during the cold weather in Sapporo Hokkaido. The best part is Aji No Takeidai is located in Sapporo JR Station so you don’t need to go venture far for comfort food.
