Cafe Moni is located in the city of Okayama and it is walking distance from the Okayama JR Station. This café is very popular among the locals and they are popular with their chiffon cakes.

The food at Cafe Moni is pork free and alcohol free. We went there after dinner for supper and it was packed with customers.

We ordered four cakes, three chiffon cakes and one cheesecake.

The three different types of chiffon cakes we ordered are chocolate banana, cream cheese and raisins.

The texture of the chiffon cakes are soft and the flavours of the cakes are subtle and it complements well with the cream and ice cream. The cream and ice cream adds more texture and flavour to the chiffon cakes.

The cheesecake comes with the strawberry sauce and bits. The taste is lovely, not too strong and overwhelming and it complements well with the sweet and hints of sour taste of the strawberry and the berry.

If you are visiting Okayama and planning to have a nice dessert, do check out Café Moni. The owner is a big fan of Malaysia and he is always in the café.
