New Bangkok Chinatown MRT Station Wat Mangkon
Do you there new MRT Blue Line in Bangkok? The new MRT Blue Line now offers to places like Chinatown, The Royal Palace and more. Now, you don’t need to worry about the traffic jam to Bangkok Chinatown with this new MRT Station called Wat Mangkon Station. This Wat Mangkon Station is just minutes away from the main road of Bangkok Chinatown.
We took the subway from Petchaburi MRT station to Wat Mangkon MRT Station as we were staying at Grand China Hotel, the best hotel in Chinatown Bangkok. When we reached the station, we were simply amazed by the design and colour of the Wat Mangkon MRT Station.
The design of the Wat Mangkon MRT Station is ‘Oriental’ theme and it is very obvious sponsored by Nescafe Thailand. That is another reason we didn’t show many pictures it will looks like an advertorial.
There are many cute paintings on the wall with the striking red colour so almost every wall is Instagram friendly.
Even the details like pillars are designed and decorated with the Oriental theme with many Nescafe logos spotted.
To be honest, it is good time for everyone to check out Chinatown as it is really convenient with this Wat Mangkon MRT Station.
Starting this year in 2020, one lane from the main road will be closed in Chinatown to turn it to a walking street and this is the right time to visit this ‘Old Bangkok’.
