Ratchada Train Night Market is one of the best night markets in Bangkok. They are popular for their street food and their ideal location within the city. We blogged about this night market a couple of times and they remained as one of our popular night markets in Bangkok. On our recent trip to Bangkok, we revisited the Ratchada Train Night Market and stumbled upon a popular pancake stall called the Indy Pancake.
You can tell they are very popular as it is crowded with customers. The Indy Pancake stall offers 56 characters and most of them are cartoon characters. Please check out the video to see how they make and cook the pancake.
Each pancake is sold at 40 Thai Baht each regardless which character you chose from the 56 characters. The pancake will be drawn, coloured and cooked. Each pancake will take a few minutes as it is will be drawn and cooked individually so you will be amazed by the skills as they can memorized 56 characters and draw it instantly.
Wonder how is the taste of their pancakes? To be honest, they are pretty good. They glazed a layer of butter so the pancake fragrant with the taste of the butter. The kids and the ladies love this pancake, for 40 Thai Baht, it is worth it.
How to go to Ratchada Train Night Market
The best way to get to Ratchada Train Night Market is via the MRT. You can exit at Thailand Cultural Centre MRT Station and the night market is behind Esplanade Ratchada Shopping Mall.
