Jamie Oliver Opening First Restaurant in Malaysia
For Jamie Oliver fans out there, he will be opening his first restaurant in Malaysia. His first restaurant will be opened in KLIA Airport as reported by FMT today. This is part of the commercial reset in KLIA at the moment. They are revamping their retail spaces mainly at their five international airports in the next three to five years as we blogged about it late last year at https://www.placesandfoods.com/2019/10/why-many-shops-are-closed-in-klia.html
The good news is we are going to have Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in Malaysia and it will be in the KLIA. Hence if you are planning to fly at KLIA, do visit the airport early to visit Jamie Oliver’s first restaurant in Malaysia.
For those who never tasted Jamie Oliver’s restaurant, let us share our experiences. We have dined at two Jamie Oliver’s Italian Restaurant (Perth and Hong Kong) and Fabulous Feast at Bicester Village at Oxford UK. We were impressed by Jamie Oliver’s Italian Restaurant Hong Kong and Fabulous Feast at Bicester Village at Oxford UK but the Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Perth was way below par (comparing with HK) and it was closed last year in 2019. Sorry for not blogging our great experience of Jamie’s Italian at Harbour City, Hong Kong as it was one of the best meals we had during our last trip to Hong Kong.
For your information, there are Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Singapore, Jamie Oliver Kitchen in Bali and Bangkok. We are unsure what type of restaurant Jamie Oliver will be opening at KLIA but do expect some of the similar menu served in his other restaurants and probably with HALAL menu.
We hope to hear more of this new Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in KLIA in the near future. Like we mentioned, we had good and bad dining experiences at Jamie’s Italian so do manage your expectation.
