Last week, my Thai sent me photos of Pattaya Walking Street during this COVID 19 on June 2020. For those who never been to Pattaya Thailand, the Pattaya Walking Street is a vibrant walking street filled with restaurants, bars, cafés and discos.
The Pattaya Walking Street is part of Pattaya Beach Road. It starts to get real busy at night and you can see many shops, restaurants, bars and discos lit up the street with colour lights.
You can check out the video we took before COVID 19 so you get to see and experience the vibrant night life at Pattaya Walking Street. It is pretty safe here as there are police officers at the front of the street.
You can find many tourists from around the world walking around this street, taking photos and having a drink or two at the bars.
During this COVID-19 period, the Pattaya Walking Street is shut down and it turns to a dark empty street in contrast of its usual vibrant and colorful look and experience.
After the restriction period is over, the Pattaya Walking Street will be reopen and we hope it will return as it used to be.
Thailand will open it borders on July 2020 but it depends on other countries to open their borders. There are no words on when can Malaysians to travel abroad without compulsory 14 days quarantine but we will always look out for the latest news update.
Thailand is one of the safest places to visit when the borders are open. Plan now, travel when it is safe to travel. Take care and be strong everyone!
