When it comes to Japanese food in Taman Danau Desa, there are plenty. Eatomo Food Company is one of the hidden gems in Taman Desa that serves Japanese Fusion food. Before you start reading our review on this restaurant, this is our visit to this restaurant with our friends before COVID-19 pandemic.

Eatomo Food Company is located on the first floor of 11-1-1, Jalan 3/109F, Danau Business Centre, Taman Danau Desa. You will see a huge signage of Eatomo pointing upwards.

We got to know Eatomo from our foodie friends and we read their reviews before we dined here. We don’t believe on Instagram for food anymore as we had bad experiences in the past. It is good food that matters and not good photos.

This super delicious looking Mentaiko seared salmon ikura don uses Norwegian Salmon. It is drizzled with mentaiko sauce before it is flamed to perfection.

What we like is the freshness of the salmon, the tasty mentaiko sauce as well as the light salted salmon roe. You can also tell that they are pretty generous with their Norwegian salmon and this won’t disappoint you.

We believed they changed this dish in their new menu, please check with the restaurant. This is combination of salmon, salmon belly, Hamachi, tako butterfish, hokkiagi, ameabi and salmon caviar.

For sashimi lover, you won’t be complaining the freshness of the seafood here and we hope they still offer this. Love every piece of seafood sashimi on this platter. It is served cold, the texture is good, the taste is still fresh and it is awesome when you dipped on to light soy sauce and real wasabi.

This is their version of Nagoya Fried Chicken wings. For those who travelled to Nagoya, fried chicken wing is a popularised by a restaurant there and it is usually compliment with beer.

The fried chicken is crispy and tender inside and this can be addictive especially for fried chicken lover.

Banshuichi Sake from Hyogo Japan and they served by 200ml glass or the whole bottle of 1.8 litre. We always love to order either beer or sake whenever we dine for Japanese food and it spice up the flavor of the food and the evening as well.
