We don’t really visit Cameron Highlands that often but this is restaurant is worth a mention. The cooling weather in Cameron Highlands makes you feel like having steamboat or hotpot. May Flower Restaurant at Tanah Rata is one of the popular steamboat restaurants to visit in Cameron Highlands.
They have been around for some time and they are located at 22, Main Road, Tanah Rata, 39000 Cameron Highlands, Pahang. They open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they offer steamboat as local Chinese food. Our recommendation is to go for their steamboat.
They offer traditional type of steamboat of set per person and it is RM 25 per set per person. If two people, they will offer portion for two at RM 50.
They offer various types of soup and we chose the Herbal Soup. They offer 22 items for their set with 9 types of vegetables.
There are 9 types of fresh local vegetables with chicken, beef/pork, crab stick, fish meat, prawns, soya strips, cuttle fish, jelly fish, fresh mushroom, fish balls, eggs, tofu and noodles / mee hoon. In total there are 22 items.
The soup is pretty tasty, the food is fresh especially the vegetables and this restaurant is quite busy during weekends and holiday season.
Service is pretty good and overall, this is a decent place for steamboat at Cameron Highlands. Like we mentioned earlier, it is hard to go wrong to visit a steamboat restaurant during cooling weather at Cameron Highlands. This is May Flower Restaurant Cameron Highlands.
