Ming Yue Famous Ipoh confectionary is located at Kampar Garden and on normal days, there will be long queues in front of their shop. The Ming Yue confectionery is also popularized by Hong Kong actor Chapman To a few years ago.

We bought the Ming Yue Famous Ipoh Peanut Candy 600 gram pack to taste and review. There is no proper packaging like the other brands. It is just a plastic bag with a small sticker of Ming Yue and manufacturing date.

The slight disappointment is the peanut candy is slightly crushed despite did a great job in packaging. It is probably damaged during delivery but that is beyond the seller’s control.

Now the most important the review. The first bite is crunchy and you get the fragrant of the peanuts and after taste of the sweetness. What we like is the taste of their peanut candy which is not too sweet or over caramelized. The texture is crunchy and this is very addictive and you can’t stop eating this.

For the price, Ming Yue Famous Ipoh Peanut Candy is the most expensive compare to the other brands. Overall, we like the Ming Yue Famous Ipoh Peanut Candy and it lives up to its reputation.
