Chinese New Year is coming and everyone is busy ordering biscuits, dried meat, mandarin oranges, drinks and snacks. Time for something fun for Chinese New Year with Ooh Mala snacks!
Ooh Mala is originated from Singapore and before you start to judge, I did a short video tasting all the Ooh Mala snacks which includes the Mala peanuts, Mala green peas, Mala prawn crackers, Mala potato chips and Mala cassava chips. You can watch the video below.
What I like about Ooh Mala snacks is the spicy mala flavour. If you look at the closely at the snack, you can spot the chili flakes and the mala flavour. That spiciness taste and after taste reminds me of my gourmet tour at Sichuan China. You will feel the hotness in your body after taking the Ooh Mala snacks.
I have tasted the Mala peanuts, Mala green peas, Mala prawn crackers, Mala potato chips and Mala cassava chips. My favourite Ooh Mala snacks are the Mala prawn crackers, Mala potato chips and Mala cassava chips.
These Mala snacks are definitely different from your usual Chinese New Year snacks and since the packaging is red in colour, I think it makes more sense buying these Ooh Mala snacks.
