Promthep Cape The Southern Most Tip of Phuket
Time to update about Phuket Thailand as there are more Malaysians plan to drive to this beautiful island for the fourth quarter of this year. Phuket is the island in Thailand we visited the most since 1992. While many people will stay in Patong, we just want to remind travellers Phuket offers more than that. For example, Promthep Cape The Southern Most Tip of Phuket.
We blogged about 20 things to do in Phuket a few years ago and visiting Promthep Cape for sunset is one of them. This is not something built for tourism but a rather unique cape that exist for centuries.
Promthep Cape gives us the best memory from my first trip in 1992. Since then, we always dream of going back to revisit this place to refresh our memories.
We revisited this place a couple of times and recently, Promthep Cape went viral as locals went hiking to get a better view of this place.
We do not encourage the hiking route as there are some risks to it and you need locals to bring you for that route but that is one option available.
If you are driving in Phuket, you can easily find parking spaces around here. Please take note this is the southern most tip and hence you need to take some time to reach this area.
The best view is sunset view and hence do come here early to avoid disappointment. We are unsure about the crowd but we won’t mind enjoying the breeze and the view while waiting for the sunset and magic hour.
To be honest, we hope and plan to bring our kids to visit this place one day. We want to boys to experience the vibes that we had during our teenager years so we are planning to visit Phuket very soon.
This is just a quick sharing session of one of the most memorable spots in Phuket. This is the Promthep Cape The Southern Most Tip of Phuket.
