Ceviche is typically made with fresh raw fish or seafood, which is marinated in citrus juice (usually lime or lemon). This gives it a fresh and tangy taste that is very appealing.

The taste of the ceviche is very acidic but you get to taste the freshness of the fish. It usually comes with the sliced red onion as well as corn. It taste like sashimi with citrus. The Peruvian corn is huge but it is not as sweet as our usual sweet corn.

Ceviche is a healthy dish, as it is low in fat and high in protein. It is also a good source of vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, iron, and calcium. That is one of the main reasons it is a very nutritious dish.

Peru is blessed with many fresh seafood and making Ceviche is simple too. Hence, it is the national dish of Peru.

Ceviche can be made with a variety of seafood, including fish, shrimp, squid, octopus, and scallops, as well as different types of vegetables and fruits in other Latin American countries.
