It has been awhile since we shared our food hunting and reviews in Cheras. This time it is a seafood restaurant in Cheras Batu 11. We are not sure whether this is a hidden gem or not but this restaurant has been around for some time. This is Ken Well Seafood Restaurant.
We checked their Google Reviews and it looks promising. The Ken Well Seafood Restaurant is located at Taman Kasturi, Cheras Batu 11, a stone throw away from C180.
There are a lot of parking spaces near this area and Ken Well Seafood Restaurant is a fully air con restaurant.
Since this is our first time at Ken Well Seafood Restaurant, we ordered most of their signature dishes that include Hot plate seafood tofu, Signature Clams, Two Types Pork Ribs and Asam Fish.
Hot plate comes with seafood mixed with tofu as well as ingredients like squid, button mushroom, enoki mushroom, carrot as well as prawn. The sauce is good to complement rice for the kids while the taste of this tofu is not bad but nothing extraordinary.
Signature clams comes with generous amount of garlic and spring onion. This is large size clams and not lala and hence there are more flesh. For the taste, this is not too bad and it complements well with the rice.
Two types pork ribs are pork rib kings as well as 3 taste spare ribs. The taste is flavourful and this is a must order when you visit this restaurant.
This gorgeous looking dish is the Assam Fish. The assam sauce is creamy and the taste is not that sour and spicy. This really depends on personal preferences as some people prefer creamier taste while we prefer more sour taste.
The restaurant also offer free self serve ice cream. The ice cream flavours depending on what they have that day. Of course, everyone loves ice cream as dessert after meal especially the kids.
Overall, the food at Ken Well Seafood Restaurant Cheras Batu 11 are pretty decent. There are no big surprises in terms of taste while the food prices here are reasonable. The address and opening hours at below.
