Staying in Kajang for almost 7 years now and I do have a list of restaurants that I frequently visit. I know many people comes to Kajang to eat satay or hot pepper soup but there are quite a number of decent restaurants including Restoran Cheong Kee Bak Kut Teh.

Restoran Cheong Kee Bak Kut Teh is one of few bakuteh restaurants in Kajang. This is a corner lot restaurant located at 23, Jalan Berjaya Baru 1, Taman Berjaya Baru.

This is open-air style restaurant and you can find the usual bakuteh food in their menu. On top of that, they also offer dishes like Claypot Spicy Pork Belly, Fried Pork and more.

I was there for dinner with the family and we ordered two claypots of bak kut teh. One claypot of pork ribs and one claypot of pork belly with pork intestines.

Since I don’t go to Klang often for their bakuteh, I can’t tell you the difference of the taste. Saying that, I like Restaurant Cheong Kee bakuteh as the taste is not too strong or too light. It is just right.

I like to visit them during rainy days as this is comfort food and the boys loved it too.

We also ordered Claypot spicy pork belly. This taste of the pork belly is less spicy than expected but it still complements well with the rice.

Lastly, we ordered the stir fried potato leaves to make sure there is green for our dinner.

Overall, Restoran Cheong Kee Bak Kut Teh Kajang is comfort food and that is the reason why I will come back from time to time. You can find many regular customers coming back from time to time. Price wise it is competitive since the price of pork has gone up significantly over the past few years.
