Undeniable it was one of the attractions in Langkawi, the Underwater World Langkawi. I visited the place many years ago when they were newly opened. Now, the place now expanded so much, I barely recognized it. There was an unpleasant thing happened in 2007, where hundreds of fish died of poisoning.

Even though there were a tragic incident a year before, there were a lot of fishes were restored. Almost all sections were opened and the place was still a nice place to visit. I loved the penguins section and their feeding session. The penguins were so cute, we were there for quite a while.
There’s also a small 3D cinema hall and I thought it was a great effort from them to add more entertainment value for its customers. This might not be the best marine aquariums but I enjoyed the Underwater World Langkawi. Like I said, this was certainly not the best I’ve seen, but it was decent.
