THE WORLD PREMIERE OF THE AFC ORIGINAL PRODUCTION OF CHEF WAN’S DAUGHTER’S WEDDING DEBUTS ON VALENTINE’S DAY
Yesterday, I was invited to the AFC ONE NIGHT: A MALAYSIAN WEDDING – CHEF WAN PREMIERES ON THE ASIAN FOOD CHANNEL Preview at NEO Kuala Lumpur. With other media representatives, we were given the privilege to watch the world premiere of the AFC Original Production of Chef Wan’s daughter’s wedding debuts on Valentine’s Day. The Asian Food Channel (AFC) will be broadcasting the world premiere of its original production, One Night: A Malaysian Wedding – Chef Wan, across the region. Showing on Astro 703, the stunning production will debut on Valentine’s Day, Monday, 14 February at 9pm.

Featuring Malaysian celebrity chef, Chef Wan and his daughter, Serina Redzuawan, the programme will take viewers through the preparation and wedding of Serina and her then-fiance, Gavin O’Luanaigh. The programme provides a detailed portrayal of the event, from the careful selection of the menu by Chef Wan, to finding the best designers and jewellers in Malaysia for his daughter. Receiving extensive media coverage, the event is one of the most high-profile weddings in Malaysia, with close to 1000 guests attending the climatic banquet alone.

One Night: A Malaysian Wedding – Chef Wan is a remarkable one hour documentation of Chef Wan’s daughter’s wedding. As the top chef of the region, in the show Chef Wan was being the fatherly figure and also the perfectionist himself. From dresses to jewelleries, from venues to food, Chef Wan wanted the best for her daughter’s wedding. In short, it was an hour journey of one of the most high profile wedding in the country. For those who are not familiarized with Malay wedding, this is an eye opener and for those who are Chef Wan’s fans, this is a must. This one hour special programme is also comes with Malay subtitles.
