Danau Batur Lake, Kintamani Bali

We visited this lake during our honeymoon in Bali. It was part of the landscape of Mount Batur, a popular tourist destination in Bali.

The Danau Batur Lake is the largest lake crater in Bali and it is a good source of fish. Hence, we spotted a few fishing villages near the lake.

It was unfortunate that the sky was gloomy when we visited this area so the pictures looked grey. This is part of the Kintamani tour which includes the viewing of Mount Batur. It is one of the beautiful lakes I’ve seen for some time.

Kintamani is located on the western edge of Mount Batur and visited by many tourists around the world to view the active volcano.

The Danau Batur Lake is located on the North East of Bali and you need to allocate at least three hours (of traveling alone) if you are staying in the region of Kuta, Legian, Seminyak and Nusa Dua.
