My last time partying with Johnnie Walker was last year at Swedish Marque. I was tagged along by my media and blogger friends. It was awesomeness!
It was my first time meeting up with Naomi Tham. The rest were the usual suspects.
Adam Lee was being naughty that evening, not with me please.
The party was incomplete without Richard Tan and of course my buddy Sarah Tan.
It was a fun party and I drank responsibly, drink within the legal limit and reached home safely.
Why responsible drinking is important?
To make it short, I had lost my friends in car accidents. Even my younger brother flipped his car a couple years ago and thank god he had only minor injuries. Thus, for me I seldom drink and drive. It is always important to in control of my life and what I’m going. Drinking can be fun but there will be no fun if life is put at stake.
I still remember 10 years ago, when I was studying in Australia. I have this good mate who had depression problems. During one of the drinking session at home, he went overboard and cut his arms in front of me and Rachel. That was one of those moments we have to live with for the rest of our life. He hurt himself but he didn’t get himself killed. He got drunk and he just wanted to prove himself in a bad way. I believe that could happen to anyone out there if there no control in your own life. That is why responsible drinking is important. I can’t bear to see my friends hurt themselves because they acted stupidly again. I feel there is too much negative energy around here now but truth hurts.
I brought up with a very good family. I have never seen my father even once drunk after all these years. He taught us well to take care of ourselves. My dad enjoys drinking as well as he will have one can of beer or a glass of whisky every evening. He sets a good example for me and my siblings. Remember, responsible drinking is very important!
