Fai Kee Pork Porridge at Ipoh Stadium Food Court

I know many people love to travel to Ipoh in the wee hours in the morning for their dim sum. However, I found another comfort food in Ipoh, rice porridge.

It was a coincidence as I was assigned for work in Ipoh Stadium and I stumbled upon a stall packed with customers. It is the Fai Kee stall at Ipoh Stadium Food Court. It is featured by the local dailies to for its fish head noodles but I tried their rice porridge instead.

The stall opens at 7.30 am, it is always comforting to have hot rice porridge in the morning. I ordered the pork offal porridge (with the pork innards) and their famous fried pork meat. It is obvious that it is better than the usual and the fried pork meat is the extra. It was nothing fancy or extravaganza but a simple and nice food for breakfast, no complains at all. Good pork offal porridge is hard to come by and I will definitely visit them again for the comfort food if I travel to Ipoh again.

Opens Hours:

7.30am to 4pm daily while Monday to Wednesday every first week of the month is dedicated as rest days.
