2. Scenic Cableway

The second on the list is the Scenic Cableway. This is completely different than the Scenic Skyway. With the Scenic Skyway, you can discover panoramic views of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Blue Mountains.

Remember, this is a cableway (similar to a cable car) and the 545 metre journey descents in Jamison Valley and back. The journey offers a different view of Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, Mount Solitary and Katoomba Falls.

You have to take the Scenic Cableway to access to the Scenic Walkway at the bottom station and there is 2.4 kilometres worth of Jurassic rainforest down there.

The Scenic Cableway is wheelchair accessible and good enough for 84 passengers so the cabin is quite huge actually. For your info, the cableway is the steepest and largest aerial cable in Southern Hemisphere!
