Abandoned Phra Khao Chaison Temple Cave Phatthalung

In my road trip earlier this year to Southern Thailand, I discovered many hidden places of interests, temples, beaches, national parks and attractions. One of the most memorable places I discovered is Phra Khao Chaison Temple Cave.

Phra Khao Chaison Cave is listed in many travel sites and even guidebooks. It is located in the beautiful Phra Khao Chaison National Park and near the brand new Phra Khao Chaison Hot Spring.

It is not the ordinary temple cave with weird looking statues. Thus, by the look of the condition of this temple, it has been abandoned and many statues are broken.

The plants are taking over the temple with many roots overwhelming the area. It is unsure why the temple is abandoned but if you are looking for abandoned place for photography, this is an ideal place. Thus, the place is quite spooky so it does give you the chill.

If you want to depend on the map to visit this place, it is quite tough so I have enclosed the GPS coordinate for you to visit this place. There is a new hot spring near the temple so you can go and relax there.
