The Easy Fun Self Drive in Thailand South Region Guide Book is a free guide book available now in Tourism of Authority of Thailand Malaysia office. This guide book is created to encourage Malaysians to self drive in Southern Thailand and beyond.


The initiative is by Mr. Suwat Kumwong, director of Tourism of Thailand (TAT) Malaysia as he wanted a comprehensive guide book for Southern Thailand and beyond.

The guide book consists of Thailand Large Road Maps: South and North, Province Road Maps, City Maps, Places of Attractions, Tourist Offices Information, Important Contacts, Roadtrip Checklists and Information on Customs and Immigrations.

The guide book comes with 76 fully coloured printed pages and there are more than information (places of attractions, province and city maps) on more than fifteen provinces and towns.

They are Yala, Satun, Pattani, Narathiwat, Songkhla , Hat Yai, Krabi, Trang, Phang Nga, Phuket, Surat Thani, Koh Samui, Nakhon Si thammarat, Chumphon, Phatthalung, Ranong, Hua Hin and Cha Am.

The guide is to encourage more Malaysians to self drive in Southern Thailand and beyond. Thus it is to discover some of the hidden gems in Southern Thailand in terms of nature, places of interest, food, scenery, culture and religion.
