Tourism Malaysia New Website Malaysia.Travel
We have been blogging for food and travel for years. In the past couple of years, we have worked with quite a few tourism boards such as Tourism Authority of Thailand, Singapore Tourism Board, Macao Tourism, Tourism Australia, Destination New South Wales, Tourism Tasmania, Tourism Victoria, Tourism Western Australia and Tourism South Australia. Up to today, we have not worked together with Tourism Malaysia.
We all know 2015 is Year of Festival for Tourism Malaysia and the year has passed so we are wondering what is happening for 2016. Thus, we went to check on Tourism Malaysia website at http://www.tourism.gov.my/
The website has turned corporate tourism website which is quite unique in our opinion and there was a pop up message to continue with the Tourism Malaysia Corporate Website or visit the new travel site at www.malaysia.travel.
So then we clicked on the new Tourism Malaysia website at www.malaysia.travel and to our surprise…..
The website is down but some can view it. Not sure what is wrong but the site is inconsistent.
We went thru other Tourism Websites in ASEAN and each and every one of them is working perfectly.
The Official Tourism Websites in ASEAN:
Thailand – http://www.tourismthailand.org/home
Singapore – http://www.yoursingapore.com/
Indonesia – http://www.indonesia.travel/
Vietnam – http://www.vietnamtourism.com/
Cambodia – http://www.tourismcambodia.org/
Laos – http://www.tourismlaos.org/
Myanmar – http://www.myanmartourism.org/
Brunei – http://www.tourismbrunei.com/
Malaysia – www.malaysia.travel
There are probably hundreds or thousands of tourists visiting Malaysia are checking out information from Tourism Malaysia website and some can view it and some can’t. We just hope that the Tourism Malaysia website can be run more professionally as it represents our country’s image.
