Delicious Bangsar Village US Potato Culinary Menu

Delicious restaurants in Malaysia have gone through various managements and owners since its establishment. The restaurants are now owned by The Envictus Group as they took over in October last year. The Envitus Group also owns the Texas Fried Chicken restaurants chain in Malaysia.

It has been a while since we dined in any Delicious restaurants and our last visit to Delicious Bangsar Village  is to review the U.S. Potato Culinary menu. The restaurant in Bangsar Village 2 is looks refreshed after their renovation and we feel like visiting a brand new ‘Delicious restaurant’.

In conjunction of the annual U.S. Potato Culinary Festival, U.S. Potato Board collaborates with 14 restaurants in Klang Valley to serve an exclusive limited-time menu featuring U.S. fresh and frozen potatoes.

When we talked about potatoes, many will talk about carbs. However, do you know that U.S. potatoes contain high “solids” and low sugar content? Not forgetting that the U.S. industry standards are demanding and must meet all Food and Drug Administration and USDA specifications. Thus, potatoes are in dispensable source of nutrient and 148g potato packs only 110 calories and rich with potassium and Vitamin C. In short, not all potatoes are the same, U.S potatoes better.

Delicious restaurants offer three U.S. Potatoes dishes for this annual U.S. Potato Culinary Festival and they are U.S. Fries tossed with loads of garlic, served with Cheese Sauce and Fry Sauce, Sautéed U.S. Fresh Potatoes with Button Mushrooms topped with melted Raclette Cheese and U.S. Fries topped with Beef Chilli con carne, melted Cheese, Sour Cream and Jalapenos.

You can smell Mexican influence for this dish. This is their version of U.S. Fries topped with Beef Chilli con carne, melted Cheese, Sour Cream and Jalapenos. Usually the main ingredients for this is nachos and they replaced it with U.S. fries. The flavour for this is pretty good with hints of spiciness. We love the flavours of the beef chilli and you won’t complain the generous amount of melted cheese and sour cream, the jalapenos offer hints of spiciness. If you love Mexican food, you should order this.

Crispy fries tossed with generous amounts of fried chopped garlic and this is served with cheese sauce and fry sauce. The garlic offers the bits of crunchy texture and we love the cheese sauce.

Sautéed U.S. Fresh Potatoes with Button Mushrooms topped with melted Raclette Cheese

This is showtime! Raclette cheese is melted with torch and the top layer will be scraped onto the sautéed U.S fresh potatoes with button mushrooms.

This comes with generous amount of Raclette cheese. We were surprised to find this old Swiss cheese dish in Delicious restaurant in Bangsar.

For the taste, the raclette cheese offer a strong after taste and it complements well with the sautéed U.S. potatoes and mushrooms.
