Huawei P30 Pro Green Screen Glitch

We were in Vietnam with our friend who is using the Huawei P30 Pro. We loved the Huawei Mate20 Pro and the night mode is legendary. You can check out all the night mode photos we took with Huawei Mate 20 Pro here. The Huawei P30 Pro is an amazing phone with the night mode and 50x ultra zoom. However, during this trip we found the green screen glitch with Huawei P30 Pro.

Watch the video on how the Huawei P30 Pro Green Screen Glitch. It happens when our friend tries to capture pictures using Night Mode with ultra wide angle (0.6x) during day time. We showed him that the pictures look better when you use the night mode during daytime with Huawei P30 Pro.

For no reason, the Huawei P30 Pro night mode do not work during day time and the picture captured turns to pure green screen. The entire picture is green as shown in the video.

Sometimes, the picture didn’t turn green but the night mode is not working at all. This happens when the setting is night mode with ultra wide angle (0.6x) and it works perfectly on 1x.

The software is to up to date as shown in the video. It is still the same after we restarted the phone.

However, the glitch is gone when the phone is fully charged. Could it be battery issue as the glitch happen when it was at 30% battery level? There were no more glitches once it is fully charged.

We tried google this issue but no one seems to have this so this could be isolated incident. Anyone having this issue, please do comment.
