Hello everyone, this is the time to visit Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya again! Paradigm Mall PJ is offering the chance to be rewarded with Food & Beverages for FREE!

You will be getting a chance to be rewarded with food and beverages for FREE once you manage to collect required amount of stamps on the passport card when you shop at Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya (Paradigm PJ) from 19th August – 17th November, 2019.

For your information, Paradigm Mall PJ has recently completed the first phase of Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI) dedicating the entire LG level to the mall’s first and only food court – Food Arcade.  This means that Paradigm Mall PJ is offering a mix of high-quality food & beverages (F&B) outlets offering shoppers a variety of flavors in their meal from authentic Malay, Italian, Middle-Eastern, Thai, Javanese, and Hong Kong to Taiwanese food. The mall has also brought in a number of new F&B options such as Nene Chicken, Waffuru Café, Sedap Sedap, T Bun, SRK Noodle House and Farmers Street. There are new tenants that will be joining soon which are Mr. Chizu, An View, Harum Manis, Daboba, GinGer Thai and Salad Atelier. We all know food is one of the main factors to visit a shopping mall especially with family with kids. With the new F&B outlets, it is easier for shoppers to find their favourite food in Paradigm Mall PJ.

Before we start to talk about the food review, let us share the Taste of Paradigm Mall PJ Campaign details:

COLLECT

To participate, shoppers need to collect a Taste of Paradigm passport from the concierge counter. The competition has two simple steps – Spend and Be Rewarded.

SPEND

Shoppers spending a minimum of RM30 in a single receipt at any F&B outlets of PMPJ will be eligible to collect a stamp.

REDEEM

Shoppers can redeem the free F&B from Sepiring, The Chicken Rice Shop, Waffuru Café, Seaweed Club, The Energy Club, Fish & Co, Warung Mama, Vanilla Mille Crepe and Papparoti from the outlets at Paradigm Mall PJ once they have successfully collected a certain number of stamps on their Taste of Paradigm passport.

Nam Heong Ipoh Restaurant

Nam Heong Ipoh restaurant is one of my favourite places for Ipoh style food. Nam Heong Ipoh has been around for 60 years and they have expanded to many outlets in Klang Valley including Paradigm Mall PJ.

We always enjoy some of their popular food including Ipoh White Coffee, egg tarts for my kids and their wanton noodles and so many more.

Overall, the food at Nam Heong Ipoh is consistent and it never disappoints us. Like we mentioned earlier, we loved their wanton noodles, the curry noodles, the egg tarts, the chicken sou (dessert) as well as the pudding. This is a great place for family especially kids!

Gokuraku Ramen

For ramen lovers, you can check out Gokuraku Ramen on the second floor in Paradigm Mall PJ. They offer their speciality Japanese ramen and side dishes like gyoza and more.

This is a non halal restaurant and thus they offer ramen with pork and char siew. Check out what we ordered that day.

Niku Dango @ RM6.49

Minced pork meatballs paired with sweet and sour sauce.

Spicy Gyoza @ RM11.99

Japanese boiled minced pork dumplings with homemade spicy sauce.

Ultimate Goku Raku @ RM 19.69 (S) & RM 24.09 (R)

Ramen topped with Japanese Char Siew, homemade braised pork belly, fungus, onions, spring onions and lava egg. This rich and delicious broth is made of chicken with dried anchovies (Niboshi), boiled in low heat for 7 hours to perfection in taste and texture.

Super Char Siew Tonkatsu @ RM 24.09 (S) & RM 28.49 (R)

Ramen topped with Japanese char siew, spring onions, fungus and lava egg. The broth is flavourful with strong flavours from the pork bones broth.  The pork broth is cooked for over 10 hours for that intense flavour.

Stamina Teishoku Set Meal @ RM27.39

Deep-fried chicken and shredded cabbage with white rice, miso soup, sui gyoza and edamame.

Overall, we enjoyed the ramen here and this restaurant is a must visit for ramen lovers. You won’t be complaining their pork bones broth and their ramen here.

Warung Mama

Looking for authentic Malay food with affordable pricing? Then you visit Warung Mama located a lower ground floor. We love the design and concept of the restaurant as it is spacious, clean and comfortable. Check out some of the food we ordered at Warung Mama inspired by home cooked Malay recipes.

Nasi Kukus Ayam Goreng Berempah @ RM10.90

Warung mama’s signature recipe of fried chicken marinated with spices that is served with steamed rice, jelatah (pineapple salad), sambal belacan, and papadom.

Kari Ayam @ RM10.90

Mama’s touch on chicken served in curry gravy served with steam rice.

Nasi Kukus Daging Masak Hitam @ RM12.90

Warung Mama’s signature sweetened beef simmered in aromatics and meat spices with  characteristic dark hue, attributing to generous use of thick/dark soy sauce

Laksa Utara @ RM8.90

Warung Mama’s take on the northern region’s laksa that’s especially popular in the Northern states of Kedah and Perlis.

Mama Mi Kari @ RM8.90

Another signature dish of Warung Mama, served with yellow egg noodles and/or vermicelli in thick curry gravy. Warung Mama’s take on this traditional comfort food will bring nostalgic memories of the past.

Laksa @ RM8.90

A serving of rolled up flat rice noodles drenched in a rich and relatively thick white santan gravy, topped with a variety of ulam and finished with a huge dollop of sambal, and a squeeze of lime.

Cendol @ RM2.90

Warung Mama’s homemade recipe on one of the most famous dessert in Malaysia. Served with coconut milk that is delivered fresh daily.

Overall, the food here is good and you can try their Laksa Utara for something different.

Seaweed Club

Looking for a snack? You have to check out Seaweed Club located at Lower Ground Floor Paradigm Mall OJ. They are popular for their Seaweed Salad Roll or popiah which contains fresh carrot, sweet turnip and cucumber with mayonnaise sauce, chicken floss and crispy bits. Thus, they also offer some of the local desserts and snacks as part of their menu.

Molten Chocolate

This is definitely a must for chocolate lovers! Molten Chocolate is located on the Ground Floor of Paradigm Mall PJ. If you never tasted Molten Chocolate, then you should visit this place and you will have no regrets!!

Sukicha

For Japanese tea lovers, you must not forget Sukicha. This is a contemporary Japanese brand that offers many different types of tea from Japan. They offer various  selections of Matcha, Sencha, Black Tea, Hojicha, Brown Rice Tea, and Dessert.
