Ibis Styles Hotel Phuket City Review
Phuket city is one of the best places to stay in Phuket. If you are looking for the identity of Phuket, this is the place for you to stay. There are many old Sino-Thai building as well as local restaurants in this area. When it comes to where to stay in Phuket City, there are plenty of hotels available and we stayed at Ibis Styles Hotel.
Ibis Styles Hotel Phuket City is located at the heart of Phuket city and it is next to Novotel Phuket Phokeethra. Both hotels are part of the Accor Hotels Group. We stayed a couple of nights here as we were doing a couple of food reviews in Phuket City.
This is not the first Ibis Styles hotel we stayed, we reviewed Ibis Styles Bencoleen and Ibis Style Hobart in the past. The concept of Ibis Styles is for smart travellers, a compact room with comfortable space and the necessity amenities and FREE WIFI. Breakfast is usually simple and on the go.
The size of the room is comfortable as you can watch it on our Youtube video.
The room comes with air conditioner, flat screen TV, mini fridge, wardrobe, working desk and a very stylish sofa.
If you look at the design of the room, it is very modern and stylish especially with the colours. We love the tiles that represents the essence and spirit of this place.
You can walk around from the hotel, the market is right in front of the hotel and there are many places to venture in this part of Phuket.
Ibis Styles Hotel Phuket City also offers many parking spaces especially you want to self drive in Phuket like we do. The best way to travel around Phuket and Phang Nga is by renting a car. There are many car rentals in Phuket International Airport and we usually book Thai Rent A Car as it is one of the largest car rental companies in Thailand. They have over 32 branches with over 8000 cars in their fleet.
