There is a new exciting restaurant in Bangsar and it is called Frediani’s Market & Deli Bangsar. Frediani’s Market & Deli opened just two weeks ago and it is located at 26, Jalan Telawi 5 (same row with McDonald’s) and they offer Anglo Italian cuisine and it is something new to this part of Bangsar.

Frediani’s Market & Deli Bangsar offer all day breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. They open from 10 am to 10 pm daily and they also offer fresh deli products.

What we understand is they make their food from fresh including their breads, minced meat, sausages, pate and more. Almost everything is homemade at Frediani’s Market & Deli so they can maintain high quality food with the best taste.

The Frediani’s Market & Deli is the brainchild of Chef Neil Frediani and his wife, his partners and his team. He is born in England with Italian heritage. He has been staying in Kuala Lumpur for a while and he realised that he missed Anglo Italian cuisine and thus he decided to open Frediani’s Market & Deli. With his love for food, he wanted to introduce authentic Anglo Italian cuisine for his customers.

Frediani’s Market & Deli is simple design cozy restaurant with a small section for the deli and we love the ‘open kitchen’ concept so you can watch how the chefs cook in the kitchen.

Let’s start with their food. They offer ‘Big Breakfast’ like other restaurants in Bangsar and it is called the The Full Monte.

The Full Monte comes with bacon, eggs, black pudding, sausage, tomato, beans, hashbrown, toast, mushrooms and pulled BBQ pork. Spot the difference? They offer black pudding and pulled BBQ pork for their big breakfast. Black pudding is a blood sausage from United Kingdom and it is made from pork blood with pork fat and the taste is pretty exquisite and this is homemade. Their homemade sausage is mixture of pork and bacon and the bread and hashbrown is homemade too. The fried egg is cooked to perfection and the portion is good for two. This is the real deal, this is how the big breakfast should be in our opinion.

For appetizers and light bites, you must order their version of Chicken Liver Pate with Toast and Tomato Jam. The entire dish is homemade, the chicken liver pate, the toast and even the tomato jam. Almost everything in Frediani’s Market & Deli is homemade to be honest.

The chicken liver pate comes with butter and it goes well with the lightly toasted bread, butter and the tomato sauce with hints of spiciness. For pate lovers, this is a must order. The pate is creamy and flavourful and this is gold. To be honest, we don’t mind driving all the way to Bangsar for the chicken liver pate.

For pasta lover, you must order their Spaghetti Carbonara. This is the traditional Carbonara that comes with Pancetta, egg yolks and parmesan without cream. The traditional Carbonara as we understand do not comes with cream and only with egg yolk and parmesan cheese. This is something unique than the usual creamy carbonara and you must have this when it is warm.

Spicy Chicken Wings is one of the specialities at Frediani’s Market & Deli. The chicken wings comes with a nice presentation of the Italian flag and this is a must order. The chicken wings are brine, roast and fried and the result is the crispy outer layer with juicy tender meat. The chicken wing is tasty with hints of spicy flavour and this is addictive. One plate of the spicy chicken wings might not enough but you should try the other dishes.

For seafood lovers, you must order Mussels Frediani. This is New Zealand Black Mussels cooked with tomato and their special sauce. The mussels are thick and fresh and compliments well with the creamy sauce and their homemade bread.

Their homemade Cottage Pie is another must order in their menu. A glance at the Cottage Pie, it looks ordinary but when you start to scoop in, you will see the hidden gem.

The minced beef meat is juicy, tasty and it complements well with the soft texture of the potato. This reminds us of the amazing cottage pies we had when we were studying in Australia. We enjoyed this very much and we don’t mind visiting Frediani’s Market & Deli for this Cottage Pie and Chicken Liver Pate. This is a must order!

Lastly, we had the Spicy Tuna Melt. This is flaky tuna mixed with cheddar and Mozzarella cheese with chilli and grilled until it turns golden brown colour in their homemade sour dough bread. This is good for small eater or take away for on the go. This is good for brunch or even tea time if you need tasty sandwich.

Frediani’s Market & Deli Bangsar is perfect for family and friends and they do offer house wines and beer. If you are looking for good food and Anglo Italian cuisine in Bangsar, you must visit Frediani’s Market & Deli. We spoke to the owner Chef Frediani and they have plans to offer Lobster Roll in the future. Frediani’s Market & Deli Bangsar is also pet friendly and you can bring your dog along.
