Asia’s Largest Light Festival will be coming to Thailand end of this year. Yesterday, we were invited to the launch of the ‘Village of Illumination’, a new light festival happening at Singha Park Chiang Rai Thailand by Index Creative Village, one of the largest event companies in Thailand. The Village of Illumination at Singha Park Chiang Rai will be Asia’s Largest Light Festival.
The Village of Illumination at Singha Park will be happening from 4th December 2020 to 31st January 2021 during the cold season. The Village of Illumination set to attract more visitors and boost tourism to Singha Park and Chiang Rai.
The theme of the Village of Illumination at Singha Park Chiang Rai will be ‘Falling from the Sky’ and the concept will be meteorite falling from the sky. During the launch, the offered some rendered visual of the concept and it is interesting and unique.
There will be 10 Zones for the ‘Falling from the Sky’ theme and they are:
Zone 1: The Forest Lights
Zone 2: The Third World
Zone 3. Star Meadow
Zone 4. Meteorite
Zone 5: Sky Dome
Zone 6: Digital Art Village
Zone 7: See The Sky
Zone 8: Milky Way
Zone 9: Alien Village
Zone 10: The Alien
The concept of the Village of Illumination at Singha Park will be mixture of digital lights, animations, light mapping, laser show, LED lights, light projects and more.
After the press launch, we were invited for The Village of Illumination Pre-Show at Singha Park to have a glimpse what to expect for The Village of Illumination at the end of the year. There were many rooms with mixed digital animations, lights projections, light mapping, laser shows, LED lights and more.
For your information, we visited teamLAb Light Illumination in Singapore, Museum DAH in Korea, The Light Tunnel in Nabana no Sato and Roppongi Winter Illumination in Japan. This is not our first time going into a light art illumination show and to be honest, The Village of Illumination pre-show is eye opener and impressive. We were told that the actual Village of Illumination at Singha Park will be way better than the pre-show.
We believe Village of Illumination at Singha Park Chiang Rai is a big opportunity to show the world what Index Creative Village and Singha Park can offer in terms of digital art light illumination. The Asia Largest Light Festival by Village of Illumination at Singha Park will become one of the most important light shows in the world.
We were here at the first The Singha Park International Balloon Fiesta and now it has become one of the biggest International Hot Air Balloon events in the Asia and the world.
